If you currently have comparable health insurance coverage that is issued by a U.S. based insurance carrier and meets coverage limits mandated by the Commonwealth, you will be required to complete the Springfield College health insurance waiver form online after July 1st.  If you have comparable health insurance, we ask that you waive the insurance prior to the bill due date in order for the charge to be credited to your account, otherwise your account will show a balance. Waive the student health insurance prior to the start of the academic school year, or you risk being responsible for the insurance charge, even if you have comparable insurance coverage.

If at a later date it is determined that your insurance does not meet the minimum state requirements, your account will be billed for the full amount. Link below will be updated after July 1st.
